Ms. Tshomo is a fresh graduate with a background in Bhutanese Cultural Studies who joined Wind Horse Tours, Treks & Expeditions in 2026.
Before joining the company, she trained as a Desuung Guardian of Peace and also completed a crash course in computer applications, giving her a useful combination of discipline, basic technical skills, and a willingness to learn.
Determined to build an independent career for herself, Tshomo joined Wind Horse after seeing the company’s vacancy announcement. She currently handles flight bookings and ticket purchases for our guests. Her work often requires her to move back and forth between Wind Horse and airline offices, making sure that every ticket is confirmed and every seat is securely booked.
Her dedication to getting the job done has even become a source of friendly office humor. Her colleagues often joke that Tshomo is the only person in the company who has two chairs—one at Wind Horse and another at the airline office! And, considering how often she is seen at the airline counter, the joke may not be too far from the truth.
