Heera Singh Tamang grew up in the hills of Kavrepalanchok, near the Kathmandu Valley. As a young man, he spent several formative years in Bhutan, where he finished high school. He then moved to India to complete his higher secondary studies and earn his bachelor’s degree. Along the way, he traveled widely across Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Darjeeling, and northeastern India, gaining a rich understanding of the region and its people.
After finishing his degree, Heera returned home to Nepal. Looking for better opportunities, he tried out different jobs and even worked abroad in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, spending time in various healthcare roles. Even though he didn’t find lasting satisfaction in those jobs, he never lost his drive to build a better life for himself, and he eventually came back to Nepal determined to succeed.
In 2016, Heera joined Wind Horse Tours. Since then, he has learned a great deal about the tourism business and grown into an important role in the company’s Nepal operations. Today, he is proud to be part of the Wind Horse team and excited to keep growing alongside it.
