Kundeling Temple
Regency Temple
Kundeling is a temple at the foot of Parma Ri in Lhasa. It was one of the four royal temples of the city appointed by the fifth Dalai Lama, and the regents of Tibet were chosen from one of these four temples.
Its history reflects the way the Gelug school and the Lhasa government were linked during the era of the Dalai Lamas.
Today it is a quiet stop for visitors walking around the Parma Ri area.
