Drak Lhalupuk
Drak Lhalupuk is a small cave temple next to Drubthub Nunnery at the foot of Chagpo Ri in Lhasa. It is said to have been a meditation retreat of King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century.
The cave has relief rock carvings of Buddhist figures, some of which are old. Pilgrims light butter lamps and circle the sacred hill.
It is a short, quiet stop, often visited together with the neighbouring nunnery.
