Drolay Goemba
Drolay Goemba stands at about 3,400 metres in the hills north of Thimphu. A walk of two to three hours round trip leads to it from the parking lot below Tango Goemba.
The path offers wide views of the Thimphu valley, and many visitors combine it with a walk to Tango Goemba. It is a quiet, rewarding hike for those who like to see monasteries away from the road.
