Manang is a major stop off point on the Annapurna circuit trek. Most trekkers prefer to stay for a day or two for acclimatization before taking on Thorong La pass. Situated at an altitude of 3519m north of the Annapurna range, Manang is one of the highlights of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Traditionally it was a small Tibetan trade settlement but now it has flourished as a major tourist destination. There are several side treks from Manang for acclimatization, we can take a day trip to Praken Gompa, hike to Chongkor view point, take a day trip to Braga and visit the old Braga monastery or explore the hidden caves located between the mountains.
