Chhundu Lhakhang
Temple in Bhutan
Chhundu Lhakhang is one of several temples in the Haa valley dedicated to Ab Chhundu, the valley’s protective deity. This one lies about 10 kilometres north of Haa town, in Gayekha village.
It can be reached by a short walk of five to ten minutes from the road. The temple is small and is an easy way to see the local, protector-deity tradition that is especially strong in Haa. Visitors usually stop on a drive through the valley.
