The Tal Barahi Temple also known as the -˜Lake Temple’ is a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess durga(barahi), the protector of gods. The temple sits on a small island on the south east section of the Phewa lake. The exterior of the temple includes a two story pagoda structure with a gajur on top. Devotees are seen especially on Saturdays making their way to the temple carrying animals for sacrifice.
