Jakar village lodge (JVL) was established in 1999, started by managing proprietor Gasey Lhendup. JVL is located just below the jakar dzong , commanding the most majestic view of the Chokor valley of Bumthang . The lodge is just a kilometer away from the from Chamkhar town, five minutes walk from the Dzong
