About the festival
The second part of the Chorten Kora festival is held on Namgang, the last day of the first lunar month, and it is called Namgang Kora. It is preceded by the full-moon day Kora, which is the first part of the festival. It is held at the same venue as the first one: Chorten Kora in Trashiyangtse. The Chorten Kora festival does not feature mask dances; instead, devotees are seen circumambulating around this holy Chorten.
