Introduction to Ladakh – 4 Days

This 4 day tour provides introduction to visit Leh, the historical capital of the kingdom of Ladakh, and formerly a major crossroads on the Silk Route. Visit Tibetan Buddhist monasteries with centuries of exquisite artwork untouched by the upheavals in neighbouring Tibet and peaceful, pastoral villages nestled in green valleys beneath rugged mountain ranges.

Outline Itinerary 

Day 1: Leh (L/D)
Arrive in Leh by flight and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon for rest and acclimatization with dinner and briefing. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Indus Valley(B/L/D)
Full day excursions to visit the sights in Indus Valley. Visit Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis monastery and Stok Palace Museum. Return to Leh in afternoon.

Day 3: Leh (B/L/D)
Sightseeing in around Leh to walk and visit Leh town, Leh Palace, Namgyal Tsemo Gompa, Shanti Stupa and wander around the bazaars of Ladakh.

Day 4: Departure (B)
Departure transfer to the airport in time for your flight.
